Vida Pirata, L.Ac.
One practitioner
throughout your care
Vida takes your history, provides your treatment and follows your progress herself.
As treatment continues, she reviews changes in your symptoms, function and priorities and adjusts the plan accordingly. The aim is for treatment to remain specific to what is happening now, rather than repeating the same protocol at every visit.

What happens at a first visit
- Your first appointment gives Vida time to understand what is bringing you in, review your health history, assess what may be contributing to the problem and begin treatment.
- If you are new to acupuncture, Vida will explain what to expect before treatment begins.
- Loose, comfortable clothing is best. Choose clothes that can be easily adjusted so Vida can access the areas she needs to treat.
- How often you come in depends on what you are being treated for, how long it has been going on and how you respond to care. Vida will discuss the recommended frequency with you and adjust the plan as treatment progresses.
